In scientific investigations Mr. Peckolt developed methods by which the efficiency of wave power plants (class of lifting bodies) can be significantly increased compared to today's systems. Based on these investigations, he designed an innovative system that can be implemented very inexpensively. Its operating principle was confirmed in the wave tank and in natural waters. Initial cost projections show considerable advantages over existing wave energy converters. For commercial use of the concept important industrial and energy companies have already expressed their interest.
